Documentation
Operational rules, and legal policy of Talbrew.
Talbrew is in closed alpha and free to use. Anyone aged 18 or over can create an account, and our team approves each new account before it can use the product.
Not yet. The talent marketplace is closed while we prepare it. You can join the waiting list from Search, and we will let you know when it opens.
Only the people you invite to a workspace, folder or project, and anyone who has an active share link. A share link is view-only. On Basic, link visitors can also download files and read comments. Turn the link off to end access at any time.
On Basic, yes. If you do not use Talbrew while signed in for 37 days, the files stored in your account are deleted to free up storage. Your projects, folders and playlists stay, but the deleted files cannot be restored. Before we delete anything, we email you, and you have at least 7 days to sign in and keep your files.
Go to Settings, open Other and choose Delete account. Deletion takes effect after 30 days, and until then you can sign in and restore the account.
Deleted tracks, projects, folders, and playlists move to Trash so you can restore them. Items in Trash still use your cloud storage until you permanently delete them or their retention period ends. Basic keeps them for 3 days. Plus and Studio Pro offer longer retention, and Studio Pro can keep items until you empty Trash. Change retention in Settings and see Pricing for plan limits.
Closed alpha
- Talbrew is invite only during the closed alpha. A new account can only be opened through a Share Talbrew link, and every account waits for approval by our team. Each link works for one person and expires 7 days after it is created. Project, workspace, folder and playlist invitations reach people who already have an account; they do not open a new one.
- Accounts invited by our team can invite 2 more people. Accounts invited by a member cannot invite anyone.
- Talbrew is free during the alpha. Paid plans and the talent marketplace are not open yet.
Alpha gift
- Every account we approve during the closed alpha gets Studio Pro free from the day of approval: 60 days if our team invited you, 30 days if a member invited you. We never ask for a card, and the gift never turns into a paid subscription.
- We email you 7 days before the gift ends. On the end date your account moves to Basic automatically. You can see the end date in Settings.
- On Basic, the Basic limits apply. Storage is 5 GB, so if you use more you cannot upload until you are back under it. Items in Trash for more than 3 days are deleted on the end date. The Basic inactivity rule (37 days) counts from the end date, not from your last visit, and it covers every file left in your account. Pricing
- If your account holds more than 5 GB when the gift ends, you have 30 days from the end date to download your files, delete files or, once paid plans are on sale, move to one. After that we permanently delete what is over the limit: your oldest files stay, in the order you uploaded them, up to 5 GB, and the newer files are deleted and cannot be restored. We email you 7 days before. You can download all your files at any time in Settings, under Other.
- Accounts that held the gift also get a one-time discount on the first payment of a Plus or Studio Pro subscription, monthly or yearly: 75% if our team invited you, 60% if a member invited you. When the gift ends, we email you a personal code and keep it in Settings. Only your account can use it, it works once, and it does not expire. If paid plans are not on sale yet, it starts working the day they open. Enter it at checkout. Accounts that held the gift do not get the free trial, so the discount always applies to a real payment.
- The gift and the discount have no cash value and cannot be transferred. We may stop offering the gift to new accounts at any time. A gift already granted runs to its end date unless the account is suspended under these rules.
Storage and retention
- Your plan sets how much cloud storage you have. An upload that would take you over the limit is blocked until you free up space. Pricing
- On Basic, if you do not use Talbrew while signed in for 37 days, we delete the files stored in your account to free up storage. Your projects, folders and playlists stay, but the deleted files cannot be restored. Before we delete anything, we email you, and you have at least 7 days to sign in and keep your files. Plus and Studio Pro are exempt.
- Large source archives on the Basic tier are pruned 48 hours after download. Plus and Studio Pro retain archives within their storage quota unless updated on the Pricing page. Pricing
- When you delete a library track, project, folder, or playlist, it moves to Trash. Items in Trash still use your cloud storage until you permanently delete them or their retention period ends. Basic keeps them for 3 days. Plus and Studio Pro can keep them for up to 30 days, and Studio Pro may keep them until you empty Trash. Pricing
Sharing and collaboration
- You can invite people to a workspace, folder or project as an editor, who can upload and comment, or as a viewer, who can listen and read comments. On Basic a workspace holds 2 people including you. You can change a role or remove someone at any time.
- A share link gives anyone who has it view-only access: they can play the audio, see file names and, where comments are shown, read them. A folder link covers everything inside the folder. On Basic, visitors can always download files and see comments. Plus and Studio Pro can turn downloads off and hide comments, and Studio Pro can add a password and an expiry date.
- Turn a link off at any time to end access. Your links stop working as soon as you schedule your account for deletion. A signed-in visitor can ask you for editor access, and you decide whether to grant it.
Reporting content and appeals
- Anyone can report a public profile, a share page or a comment with Report. Signed-out visitors give a name and email. Reports of child sexual abuse can be sent without them.
- A report says what is wrong, where it appears and why it breaks the law or these rules, and confirms that it is made in good faith. For copyright, the Terms list what a notice needs.
- A person on our team reviews every report. We confirm receipt by email and tell the reporter our decision. We do not use automated tools to decide reports.
- If we remove content, we unpublish the profile, turn the share link off or replace the comment text, and email the owner what we removed, why, and how to appeal. We may restrict accounts that break the rules repeatedly or send reports that are clearly unfounded.
- To appeal a decision, as the reporter or the owner, reply to our email or write to info@talbrew.com within six months. A person who was not involved in the decision reviews it and tells you the result. You can also go to court or use any other route the law gives you.

These terms are a contract between you and In Vivo Media Ltd (“Talbrew”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16427354) with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. They cover the Talbrew website, web app and related services (the “Service”). The Platform Rules and the Privacy Policy on this page are part of these terms. By creating an account or using the Service you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
1. Who can use Talbrew
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. You may not use Talbrew if the law of the United Kingdom, the European Union, the United States or your own country bars you from receiving the Service, including under sanctions rules.
Talbrew is in closed alpha. Every new account waits for approval by our team before it can use the Service, and we may decline or withdraw an approval. Give accurate information, keep your sign-in details safe and tell us at once if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
2. The Service and early access
Talbrew is an audio cloud and project workspace for music production. It stores and streams your audio, organises it into projects, folders and playlists, lets you share it by link, and lets the people you invite listen, comment and work with you.
During the closed alpha, features change often, some may be removed, and the Service may be unavailable at times. Keep your own copies of files that matter to you.
The Service is free during the closed alpha. Paid plans and the talent marketplace described on our website are not available yet. Before either opens, we will publish the terms that apply to it and ask you to accept them.
3. Your content
You keep every right you have in the audio, artwork, comments and other material you upload (“your content”). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, stream, convert and display your content, and to create playback data such as waveforms, only to operate the Service and to show your content to the people you share it with. The licence ends when you delete the content, except for short-lived backup copies and copies that other people already downloaded.
Anyone who has an active share link can listen to what it covers and, depending on your plan and link settings, download it. Turning the link off ends that access. You confirm that you hold every right needed to upload and share your content, including rights in samples, stems, recordings and artwork.
Your public profile is private until you publish it. Once published, anyone with its link can see what you put on it, and you can make it private again at any time.
4. Acceptable use and reporting
You must not upload content you have no right to use, infringe anyone’s intellectual property or privacy, harass, threaten or impersonate others, upload malware, try to get around security or usage limits, collect data that is not yours, or use the Service for anything illegal, including fraud, terrorist content or content that sexualises children.
You can report content or behaviour that breaks these terms or the law with Report on a profile, a share page or a comment, or by email to info@talbrew.com. The Platform Rules explain how we handle reports and appeals. We review reports, may remove content or restrict accounts, and tell the people affected why unless the law or someone’s safety prevents it. You can ask us to review a decision by replying to our message.
5. Copyright complaints
If you believe content on Talbrew infringes your copyright, email info@talbrew.com with your contact details, a description of your work, the link to the content on Talbrew, a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised, a statement that your notice is accurate and that you own or act for the owner of the right, and your signature. We remove or disable content named in a valid notice and tell the uploader, who may send a counter-notice. We close the accounts of repeat infringers.
6. Our rights in Talbrew
The Talbrew software, design, name and logos belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under these terms. You may not copy, resell or reverse engineer the Service except where the law allows it. If you send us feedback, we may use it without owing you anything.
7. Suspension and closing your account
You can delete your account in Settings at any time, or by emailing info@talbrew.com if you cannot reach Settings. Deletion takes effect after 30 days, and until then you can restore the account.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, puts other users at risk, or that the law requires us to close. Where we can, we warn you first and give you time to download your files.
8. What we promise
We provide the Service with reasonable care and skill. Apart from that and any promise the law does not let us exclude, the Service is provided as is and as available. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors, and we are not responsible for what other users upload, say or share.
9. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable or for business losses.
If you use Talbrew for business, we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, or for indirect loss.
Subject to the first paragraph, our total liability to you for all claims in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid Talbrew in that period and £100.
10. Claims caused by business use
If you use Talbrew for business, you will cover our reasonable losses and costs from a claim by a third party that arises from your content or from your breach of these terms or the law. This section does not apply to consumers.
11. Privacy, cookies and analytics
Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we process and why. Essential cookies are required to use Talbrew. Optional analytics run only if you accept them in the cookie banner, and you can withdraw that consent at any time through Cookie settings without affecting your use of the service. Optional session recordings run only if you agree during setup or in Settings. They show how you move through the app, with text, form entries, images and files hidden, and help us find bugs. You can turn them off at any time in Settings without affecting your use of the service. The Privacy Policy explains them in full.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the Service, the law or our business changes. For a change that affects you materially, we tell you by email or in the product at least 30 days before it takes effect and ask you to accept the new terms when you next sign in. The date at the top shows the current version. If you do not accept a change, you can delete your account in Settings before it takes effect. You cannot use the Service while new terms are waiting for your acceptance. If you do not want to accept them, sign out and email info@talbrew.com. We will close your account and give you a way to download your files. Smaller changes, such as clearer wording, take effect when we publish them.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring a claim in your local courts or consumer bodies, including the consumer arbitration committees in Türkiye. Please contact us first at info@talbrew.com so we can try to resolve the issue.
14. General
These terms, with the Platform Rules and the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. If a court finds part of them invalid, the rest stays in force. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later. We may transfer this agreement to a company that takes over the Service and will tell you if we do. You may not transfer it without our consent. No one else has rights under these terms. If a translation differs from the English text, the English text applies, unless the law of your country requires otherwise.
15. Contact
For questions, legal notices and complaints, email info@talbrew.com or write to In Vivo Media Ltd at the registered office above.

Who we are
Talbrew is operated by In Vivo Media Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16427354), registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. In Vivo Media Ltd is the controller of the personal data described here, and you can reach us at info@talbrew.com. Talbrew is only for people aged 18 or over, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
Talbrew is in a closed test. We do not sell anything yet, and everything on the service is being tested. We are working carefully on our legal duties, and we update this page as the service changes.
Data we process
- Account details such as name, email, birth date, and authentication events, plus the profile setup answers you give (roles, tools, genres, how you work with music, how you found us, city and country).
- Your workspaces, projects, folders, playlists, comments, share link settings and the audio and other files you upload. If you pay us, we also keep payment records.
- Technical logs needed for security, abuse prevention, and reliability.
- Your public profile (bio, photos, studio name, city, education, equipment, languages, occupations, genres and portfolio credits). It is visible only to you until you publish it. Once published, anyone with its link can see it, and it stays out of search engines.
- If you join the marketplace waiting list: whether you want to offer or find services, where you joined from and any note you add. We use it only to plan the marketplace and to tell you when it opens.
- When you accept the Terms: the version you accepted and the time. We keep this record for six years after your account is deleted, as evidence of what you agreed to.
- If you send a report: your name, email, the report and our decision. If content you posted is reported: the report and our decision. We keep these records to handle reports and appeals and to protect people on Talbrew.
- Your email preferences: whether you agreed to marketing and product update emails, and when you last changed this.
Why we use your data
We use your data only for these purposes, each with its legal basis. Without your account details we cannot provide the service.
- To run your account and the service, including your files, projects, share links and the emails the service needs: the contract between us.
- To keep Talbrew secure, prevent abuse and fix errors: our legitimate interest in a safe, working service.
- To understand how Talbrew is used and improve it, from server events and your feedback: our legitimate interest. Browser analytics and session recordings run only with your consent.
- To send marketing and product update emails: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in Settings, under Preferences.
- To keep your Terms acceptance, handle reports and appeals, keep payment records and defend legal claims: our legal obligations and our legitimate interest.
How long we keep data
- We keep your account data while your account is active. Files follow the Platform Rules, including Trash, the Basic inactivity rule and the storage limit after free premium ends. Backups may persist for a short technical window after deletion.
- When your account is deleted, we remove your personal data and your analytics record. Messages and comments you left on someone else's finished project stay so they keep their record, shown as Deleted user.
- Reports: we remove the reporter's name and email two years after the decision. The report and the decision stay as a moderation record.
- Feedback: we remove your email and browser details two years after you send it, or when your account is deleted.
- Invitations: an invitation nobody accepts is deleted after 90 days.
- Error reports: these carry your account ID, not your name or email, and stay with Sentry for its retention period.
- Payment records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Google API Services Usage Disclosure
Talbrew's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- Data Access: When you authenticate with Google, Talbrew accesses your primary Google account email address, name, and profile picture. Talbrew does not request access to Google Drive, Google Calendar, or other Google services beyond basic sign-in.
- Data Use: We use this data exclusively to create and manage your Talbrew account, authenticate your identity upon login, and personalize your dashboard.
- Data Storage: Your Google user data is stored securely in our encrypted database infrastructure (managed via Supabase). We retain this data only for as long as your Talbrew account is active. You can request full deletion of your data at any time by contacting support (see Your rights below).
- Data Sharing: Talbrew strictly does not share, sell, or transfer your Google user data to third-party marketing platforms, data brokers, or advertising networks. Furthermore, your Google user data is never used to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
Service providers
We use these providers to run Talbrew, each only for its own task: Supabase (database and sign-in, in Frankfurt), Railway (hosting, in Amsterdam), Cloudflare (file storage and security checks), Stripe (payments), Sentry (error reports, in the EU), PostHog (analytics and session recordings, in the EU, only with your consent), Resend (email), Google (sign-in, if you choose it, and the mailbox we use to answer you) and Apple (sign-in, if you choose it). Some of them process data outside the UK, the EU or Türkiye, with the safeguards the applicable law requires.
Your rights
You can delete your account yourself in Settings, under Other. Deletion takes effect after 30 days, and until then you can sign in and restore the account. After that we keep only the records listed under How long we keep data.
You can ask to see, correct, delete or get a copy of your data, restrict or object to its use, and withdraw your consent at any time. In Settings, under Other, you can download your account data and all your files yourself.
For anything else, use Report a problem in Settings, the sidebar Feedback menu or the site footer and choose Privacy and my data, or email info@talbrew.com. We answer within one month, and within 30 days for requests under Turkish law.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we use your data, tell us first at info@talbrew.com. We acknowledge every complaint within 30 days and tell you the outcome. You can also complain to a regulator: the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK (ico.org.uk), the Personal Data Protection Board in Türkiye (kvkk.gov.tr) or your local data protection authority.
Something missing from the docs
Ask for a workflow, or report a rule that does not match what you see in the product.
